The brilliant hybrid abstractions of Thomas Prinz are created to occupy the space between painting and technology. Marks are made on a canvas plate that is digitized, scanned, and altered in scale in an open ended process of digital reiteration that indicates not a disconnect, but rather a connection that computer generated art can have to art history as a whole.
